Biofolic DHA contains combination of L-Mehtylfolate, DHA and methylcobalamin. L-Methylfolate is the predominant micro-nutrient form of folate that helps developing healthy brain and spinal cord. Methylcobalamin is an important form of Vitamin B 12 which helps the fetus to develop healthy neurons. Adequate intake of Methylcobalamin is especially important for the pregnant women, as a severe deficiency can have disastrous consequence on the development of the brain and retina during the second and third trimester of pregnancy. Indications the formulation is a combination of vitamin (medical food), prescribed for the dietary management in patients with low red blood cells. It works by providing the body with folic acid for the fetal growth. It is also indicated for age related macular degeneration (AMD). It steadily performs as a multi vitamin product.
